Hi Caroline, I am in the same situation, I have been trying to concieve for three years, and was just diagnosed with possible endo. I am having a laser laparscopy next week, that is where they go in thru your bellybutton and vaporize the endo with a laser. I think it depends on what doctor you have that determines the method of removal. I do believe that they use a laparoscopy for both ways, cutting and lasering. I have heard lasering is the most effective way. And yes, it is true about the success rate of pregnancies afterwards, I have had two friends who got pregnant three months after thier surgeries. Im keeping my fingers crossed!!! Good luck:)) Donna (Maine, USA)
