Miranda, I feel for you hon. Your too young for this stuff. God I hate to see someone so young going through this! I am going to take it that you haven't had a lap before. They really are a piece of cake. Although the first one is always the toughest. Basically they make a few small incisions (2 to 4 depending on how your doc does it). And of course your out for it. They will look inside to find out what's wrong. When you wake up, you may get nausea and vomit, you may not, depends on what your anesthesiologist gives you. They have meds that will help. You may also experience alot of gas pain in your shoulders. For me that was the worst! But I only had the gas pain for the first lap. My second lap I had no gas pain at all!
