Hello Emer,
I think your doctor sounds a little uniformed. The stage does not matter
when it comes to pain. There can be women with stage 4 endo with mild pain
and stage 1 endo with severe pain. And as for his assurance that the endo
will not come back as bad after a lap, I am here to say that I have had two
laps and my pain is worse now than it was 4 years ago.
It might be a good idea to inform your doctor and take him some material.
You might even want to consider changing doctors.
