Your post brought tears to my eyes, I'm so sorry you had to give your dog away. Mine brings me so much fun, laughter, comfort, etc., I know where you're coming from, I'd miss her incredibly if we couldn't keep her. Sounds like your Serena has found a good home; the fact that the man called you shows he's got her best interests at heart. Maybe he'd be ok to you calling once in a while to check out how she's doing. Bonnie is also a very sensitive dog; in the winter when I was having such a hard time and after my lap, she would lay on the floor beside the bed for hours on end, would try to lick and nuzzle but never tried to jump - which is a major feat for her!!! She has a way of knowing when I'm down and bummy. My heart really goes out to you.... As for your state, not familiar at all! My friend lives in Hopkins Minneapolis; (I think I emailed already but not sure) - does that mean anything to you? He works for an HMO, Altima. We hope to go down in Sept., with the dog, of course! Take care of you, and give your dog a hug and scratch behind the ears for me, k? luv, Amy
