Re: Having a bad dayFrom: Allan (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Jun 19 10:48:15 1999
Morning..... I like your poem, even if its not all bright and happy, poetry doesn't have to positive, its about feelings; I can't write poetry!!! This may be the extent of my positiveness this weekend, I'm also feeling pretty bummy. I was wide awake early, and thought about going out to finish planting flowers I've had for weeks; we also have tomotoes to plant before we go out of town next week. The sun was up and I had lots I wanted to do, but then I did a 'pain check' and knew I could not be bending and crawling and hefting soil, so I went to take two pain pills and crawled back into bed :( Now four hours later, pain not much better, still haven't done anything. I'm just soooo tired of having pain all the time. And I don't want to spend my life of pain killers trying to control the pain so I can pretend to function as a half a person, know what I mean? I really like your poem, it sums me up pretty good, you musta read my mind!! Can we get a divorce from our bodies, Debbie? My hubby just gave my some of his narcotic cough syrup which he thinks will help with the pain, I sure hope so! He's gonna end up doing most of the grunt work again, as usual; he doesn't complain ever, but I want to be able to do things like that, you know, dig the hole for the bush etc? I'm not very encouraging today, am I; sorry bout that. I've been feeling pretty bummy and frustrated all week... Gonna head outside, at least I'll feel like I've accomplished something getting the rest of the flowers in. Hope your day gets better! Happy and painfree wishes to everyone, luv, Amy
