Hello Maryanne and welcome to the forum. There'll be lots of answers and support to anything you post, the women here are terrific! I'm glad to hear you're looking for another doc (can't help you, I'm in Canada) he sounds like a flake who doesn't know what he's doing. Its your body, and if you have endo and are in pain, having a lap done to help you should have nothing to do with whether or not you plan to get pregnant. I'm on lupron now, on antidepressants, have ibs, etc. like you and lots of the women here - lots of understanding here! Hang in there! luv, Amy
