Re: Followup on pelvic pain SymptomsFrom: Barb (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jun 17 18:48:42 1999
Hi Yen, My symptoms have been left lower pain (which now I know was my ovary), pain with intercourse and spotting afterwards. I have very irregular, painful and extrememly heavy periods, during my periods I have pain that shoots down my thighs, and groin by my labia, I guess you could say the tailbone area hurts too. I'm hurting so bad I guess I never stopped to think about exact spots that hurt, I just hurt. Sorry for such a graphic detail.
>You mentioned that you're ovary was attached to the sidewall -- and that our organs are supposed to float in the pelvic cavity. That is what I thought my doctor said, but I was under anesthia and was quite fuzzy. I've always thought they were floating some what with only a few tendons keeping them in the general area. I may be wrong. If someone else has any idea about this please share.
>He said my organs are not pasted (My words LOL) to the sidewall and that I appear to be a perfectly healthy young lady -- yea. Sounds like you should get a second oppiniun.
