Dear ChinaRose I'm sorry to hear that your body is misbehaving!!! Your post was yesterday, so I hope that you're feeling better today; please say yes:)! I don't know anything about the retro uterus, but my doc has told me that she believes I have adeno because of where/how I have the pain. She also said, and I've read in several places, that the only way to really tell if its adeno is when they look post hysto. She's also told me, and like you have read, that there is no treatment for it except hyst. She's concentrating on pain management, and hopes that six months of lupron will help; time will tell I guess. Fertility issues at this point have to take a backseat to quality of life, but she thinks if we are going to get preg it will happen within the six months post lupron, but realistically, the chances aren't very good, and I don't think I can do IVF even though its an option. Sorry, I meant to offer you some support and understanding and went and blabbed about me .....ooopsss!! I also have been blessed with IBS :) I hope that the pain is not too bad today for you. I'm glad to hear that you have a doc who will be open and honest with you; my previous docs didn't try to find out why I was in pain, but I'm glad I have the docs that I have now, I trust them and, even like them!! Good luck at your doc appt and you'll let us know how things go, right?! :)

Hang in there, and take care of you. Lots of happy thoughts and painfree wishes coming your way. luv, Amy
