Hi, I really feel for you and I've been there. People could be completely not understanding. It's also a matter of integrity. It helped me to realize that it's really unfaire and the inner demand to cope and adjust is almost too much. Sorry to say nobody could to this peace of work for you, but the feelings involved when facing maybe even hostile surrondings due to something you can't be responsible for could break anybody down. I can't give you any practical advice since I don't live in the states. But I'll hope you'll hang in there! you could send me an email privately if you feel I could be of help!
