What I did for my laps was I asked to be premedicated before I went under. I think they gave me valium to calm my nerves. Afterward I just rested alot. For some reason it took a good 3 or 4 weeks before I started to feel more like myself again (you get tired very easily afterward).

The first lap they sent me home that night and that was a mistake. The second time I made sure that I spent the night.

The incisions were small and were done on my c-section scar, belly button and right side.

Also, most important tip...DON'T do as I did....( get into the car and pull the lever that makes the seat go back before sitting up)LOL...I popped the stitches and ended up on bed rest for 2 weeks as well as having a compression bandage on for a day or two...LOL...was scary when my entire stomach turned black and blue!! Not to mention it hurt.

Good Luck!

Jennifer
