Hi Amy, I have just started lupron. I had my first shot on May 19 and my second will be on June 10. My question is, how long did it take before your endo pain was reduced and did you have in increase in pain at first? I ask this because my pain has still been steadily increasing and making life miserable and I am hoping for some relief soon. Personally, these side effects are much more tolerable and pleasant than the enod pain I was experiencing before; I was in tremendous pain daily and sometimes could barely walk, it hurt to laugh, cough, breathe, I was off work for four months, became quite depressed, etc. The lupron side effects are much preferred for me. Everyone will react differently and has to make their own choice, but for me, I think this was the right decision - besides, didn't really have any other good options.
