Sorry for butting in....I like in Canada about an hour or so from Mackinaw City, and was actually there on Saturday. My husband is in a bagpipe band that was in the Memorial Day parade there. Mackinaw City is a really nice place to visit, been there a few times, and am planning to go to the Island on June 13th - again for a parade, and my younger sister from out of town will be visiting with her husband and they've never been there. That has to be one of my most favorite places to go, we've been there five times, and I never tire of it, there's always something to do for kids and adults alike. I'd recommend it to anyone!!
