You may also want to ask your doc about wearing a holter monitor, about the size of a walkman - you wear it for three days and it monitor your heart; that's what was used when I was diagnosed, my doc at the time had dismissed it as stress and I changed doc's for that and other reasons, but after I fainted for no apparent reason and ecg and this test was done and mvp was determined.
