I also haven't heard that tampons are necessarily 'bad' for endo, but, you should alternate pads and tampons whether or not you have endo. Also, a tidbit from a friend of mine - her doc told her to only use cotton tampons and pads, because other kinds of tampons and pads can contribute to yeast/other infections.
