Hey Stacey,

My doctor will be videotaping my abdominal surgery as well...I'm really looking forward to it...I want to see what's in there and what is done about it! If I can stay awake during the surgery (I'm having an epidural), I can watch it on a monitor during surgery...but the IV med will probably make me drowsy enough to sleep...I don't do well with that kind of thing!! :-)

My doctor does a very different procedure...she "scrubs" the endo off (using gauze and solutions she's developed) and then uses the YAG laser to remove the microscopic parts...the whole time she's in there she uses various solutions to keep the abdomen moist (most have therapeutic purposes as well) and treats the organs gently...she has excellent results as far as return of endo and very low adhesion rates. I'm very interested in being able to see all that after my surgery (and show it to my father who's a doctor)!

My surgery is June 5th...I'll let you know how it goes!

Love and Health, Stephanie (NC)
