Hi Diane I had a laparoscapy done two weeks ago with some other proceedures, I was ordered bed rest for 1 week, had to anyway because Endo was bad at the same time. It will really depend on how you feel after your op but I personally would take at least a couple of days off, but thats just my oppinion, you are the best judge, Ask your Doctor hell know best.
Will be thinking of you, let us know if you get back on your feet quickly. Hope I havent frightened you every one is different
