Hi Shannon, I recently went to a pain management doctor. I told him my story, pain, surgeries, what I have taken, what I take now, etc.. He prescribed two meds for me. One is a anti-depressant, Remeron. This will be to help me sleep at night, I too do not sleep well and to help with the moods. The second is Arthrotec. It is prescribed alot for people with arthritis. It is a anti-inflamatory, pain med. Also, it is coated on the outside with another med to help the stomach because it is hard on the stomach like most anti-inflamatory drugs. I just started taking them. I was suppossed to start a couple of weeks ago, but they will make you drowsey at first and I had way too much going on, wakes, work, in-laws in my house. It is suppossed to start working after a week or so, so I have no information on how it works yet. I go back to see him in a month to see how I am adjusting to the meds. There is no physical, just talk and prescriptions. I hope this can help in some way, good luck on your quest and try to get some sleep! Karen
