Re: fears with endoFrom: JANET (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Apr 30 16:47:57 1999
Carolyn It is scary living with this disease, espescially when you never really know what is a real emergency sometimes.(obstructions,appendicitis,etc.) If you are trying to get pregnant and that is really what you are worried about, the best time i found to conceive is soon after a lap. Because that will be when your cleanest or more acceptable to the sperm. Thats how i got pregnant with my 3rd. Hope you start feeling a little better. After i found out i had it i really didnt study it alot. I just figured it would be something to deal with. Now i live with chronic pain, even being pregnant. It wil be okay, you just need to educate yourself with the endo. books and us, and youll be fine.Hope i helped a little. When I had my lap done the dr. found alot of endo and an excessive amount of scar tissue. I am terrified about what this means. I pretty much knew I had endo before the lap. It is just scary to think that it seems to be this bad. I am trying to stay positive and wait until my next appointment to get worried. But it is really hard. Normally I am a very strong person and now sometimes when I think about everything I just want to break down and cry. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Carolyn
