Hi Randi
I don't know too much about the medications you are taking but sometimes
certain meds can make someone put on weight. I think maybe, though, your
diet may have something to do with it. I know that I have mentioned this is
a few of my postings but sugar is the worst thing any of us can take. Those
few ounces of chocolate are probably your worst offenders! I have had a
'hippy' weight problem for as long as I can remember and when I managed to
get my sugar intake under control it all went away. Maybe it is related as
an endo problem because when we are in pain we don't care what we eat.
Chocolate is the first thing that I go looking for when I am in pain and it
is so hard to say no because your mind is saying 'I don't care' and the
chocolate is calling you! We don't rationalize properly when we aren't
feeling well and have endo pain. I had to cut back on my sugar intake for
six weeks (this included EVERYTHING with sugar in it. Do you know how many
things have sugar in them? It's frightening!) and now I have managed to get
my weight and recurring yeast infections under control. Unfortunately,
though, it doesn't get rid of endo. It's hard to do but I think it may be
worth a try.
