That is just a really dumb thing to say! What I'm getting, is that endo is really very poorly understood, and there are a lot of theories but little known for sure about what causes and helps this disease. In fact, my husband had an appt with our fam. doc. today and told her that I've been spending a lot of time on the internet lol reading about this ugly condition as well as with this forum - she told him she thought that was great because I'd probably learn a lot from here because its such an unknown. She also had no idea of the link between PCOs and endo and insulin resisitance. I thought it was kind of cute that my hubby was telling our doc about the stuff I had told him that I had learned about endo from all you wonderful ladies. Thanks again for all 'being there'. Amy
