Hi Becca and everyone,

Is this diet that you're talking about the "Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution"? It sounds very similar...perhaps I missed the first part of the discussion! Sorry, if so! Anyway, it is totally working for me! I am finally able to lose the weight from Depo-provera and Lupron. I gained about 40 lbs in one summer and have gained even more since then (I wore a size 5/6 in high school, and now,4 years later, I'm a size 12 or 14) . Now I'm on the losing streak, though! Yippee! I'm also doing Tae-Bo, walking about 1/2 hour to 45 min per day, and doing light weight lifting when I can. Seems to be working for me. =) If that's the same thing, the book is available at most bookstores, some drug stores, and even some grocery stores! Its about $7.00. I think its great! I'm hypoglycemic as well, so this diet is great for keeping my blood sugar stable. And someone was asking about Cholesterol and high fat content...the answers are in the book! Also, I think you can write to Dr. Atkins if you have any questions. I know, it sounds crazy and totally against everything we've been taught about "nutrition", but somehow it works. Good luck to all of you who are trying to lose weight! It can be a very frustrating battle! But I want all of us to win!

Have a wonderful day! Love, Joy in CA
