It's okay to be scared about this. Don't always let people influence you to do something that you think that you will be most uncomfortable with.

I personally am more comfortable with a female doctor because I can communicate more freely with them. If you would like to hear my personal story of why I say this let me know and I will be glad to share it with you privately. I'm glad that this doctor works well for the other memebers of your family, but you need to do whatever makes you feel comfortable.
