Hi Missy Its my understanding that what you are describing is not unusual after having a catheter, howver, I don't know anyone who's had these symptoms for a month. Mine were about a week several years ago after a hernia operation. I also have been having ongoing bladder problems since my laparoscopy in Feb like difficulty starting, unable to hold it, pain after. The doc told me its quite common to get infection, did urine tests and indeed I had infection, plus had to go do anothe sample after finishing antibiotics but don't know results yet. I'd get on the phone to the doc to find out results of your urine test and hopefully its nothing more complicated than an infection. Take care and good luck luv, Amy
