Hi Stacey and everyone
My husband and I haven't been using any protection for almost five
years, so one of the issues being explored is fertility, which doesn't
look very good at this point. Blood tests done in Dec. on specific days
of my cycle indicated that I wasn't ovulating. The tubes were checked
and cleaned out for any blockages/problems. As for the D&C, I have had
very severely painful, very heavy bleeding with my periods for years;
the D&C is to clean out some of the extra lining that appeared to be
growing. Between having the tubes and uterus cleaned out I gather that
the chances of conceiving are supposed to increase, but it won't be the
case with me at least for now because I'm on lupron, the endo is growing
right in the muscle wall of my uterus, and also because it seems we now
have a problem with my husband's sperm also but he went for a second
analysis yesterday. I hope this helps some and please let me know here
or privately if you have more questions, I'm always here to help you and
the rest of the ladies here. Take care and I'll keep you in my thoughts
luv, Amy
