unwelcome hairFrom: allan (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Apr 21 20:44:25 1999
Hi Ladies After I signed off last night with my last post being about facial hair, I thought of something I wanted to share, even though its not endo. If you ever have an unwanted hair on your breast do NOT pluck it!! It can become infected, become a cyst, could require surgery to dig it out... I know it sounds gross but you REALLY do not want this, because the wound is not stitched shut, it get packed (and unpacked and cleaned) daily so it heals from the inside out. I'm being a little detailed and I hope I'm not offending anyone but this can be pretty serious, and, well, unfortunately sometimes hair grows on our breasts. My mother had two surgeries for breast cysts, not from plucking though, and the nurse who came to the house every day told us this info. So, please don't pluck your breast hair!! Now I can go to sleep, now that I've passed that on to you all :) Hope everyone is having a good night luv, Amy
