Hi Stacey
seems I missed this email....ooops, sorry. I had a laparoscopy Feb
17th, D & C, hydration of tubes, cautery of endo. It seemed like the
surgery helped more at first then say, six weeks later. I definitely
had a lot less pain and a lot more mobility. I had adhesions/scar
tissue around the left ovary and pulling the left ovary towards the base
of my ovary, and it was so bad sometimes I could barely walk, it hurt to
cough/sneeze/laugh. There was also endo on the ovaries and uterus. So,
in answer to your question, yes, the surgery helped, but I was very
disappointed and frustrated when the pain started to come back after
about five weeks and get worse every day. I had hoped that the lap would
help a lot more and longer than that. I've since been told that I have
endo growing in the uterus wall, and had my first shot of Lupron on the
1st of April; that hasn't yet done as much as I'd hoped either but......
its still not as bad as it was. There's probably women out there who've
had more positive experiences with the lap, and I hope I haven't
discouraged you with my story. What day do you go in? Let me know and
I'll say a special prayer for you okay ? :)
Good luck and painfree wishes to everyone
luv, Amy
