I just need someone to talk to and you all seem like a good group to listen. I am 21 yrs old, I was diagnosed with endo Jan 98. They found very little. After when the pain did not go away my gyn said to have a baby or to go on Lupron. I went on Lupron for 3 months, the side effects were to much for me to keep going and the pain was still getting worse. My gyn said that since there was such little endo in there my pain must be coming from another problem. So I was sent to all kinds of other Drs.., they poked me and prodded me but still could not find anything. I was glad but I was hopping it would tell me why I was having the pain I was having. I am in the military and my unit is not very supportive of everything I am going through, I cannot allow it to show in my work but at times I have no choice. So anyways I was finally sent to a Dr. that really knew what I was going through, we talked and decided to do another lap. Then a month later while I am waiting for an appointment I get a call saying that he is not going to be allowed to do the surgery. If I still want it I am going to have to go to another post almost 3hrs away. And have a military dr. do it, I saw him one time before when I wanted a second opinion and he barley had the time to talk to me. So I dont want to him to be the one to cut on me. I am so mad, I want to feel better but I cant when I cant get good medical care. If any of you are in the military please help me in how to deal with this, or anyone else who might have any ideas.
