anyone who will listenFor more information on symptoms and treatment of endometriosis visit www.EndometriosisZONE.org. From: TINA (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Apr 13 08:36:20 1999
Sara- I am not in the military but your story is very similar to mine. I was diagnoised with endo this Jan. But the did find quite a bit. My doctor figures I have had it since I was twelve. I went on Lupron and it took two months before the pain subsided. Infact it got worse before it got better. I am now on my forth month and trying to hsng in there. There are a couple of things you can dicuss with your Doctor. !: continuous BCP"s therapy .2: I started takeing These vitamins From a company called melaluca and they have helped alot. They are just multivitamins except the contain a oil Similar to alovera but much stronger and it has made a huge difference!! Where are you stationed at?? It would help to know because if you are in Georgia or Oregon there are Two very good Civilan endo specialist that can help you. It is hard enough to find a gyn that is good at treating endo so I would assume it would be near to impossible to find a military Doctor who is use to treating it. Are you allowed to seek medical treatment outside of base? If you are interested in any of this please feel free to e-mail me privately. tinajtrujillo@compuserv.com OR if you just need to talk.
