HI !!! I just wanted to write and say that I'm currently on leave from work recovering from a hyst. Even though I'm only 32 I felt it was my only solution. I have the best doc in the world ... he was NOT going to go into the lapo. procedure without a solid confirmation from me as to WHAT "I" wanted. Three yrs ago I had to have my Rt ovary removed in a sort of emergancy proceedure. That was the date my endo was dign. I have lived with terrible pain and often feelings of suicide. My saving grace...my daughter...7 yrs ago I was told I would NEVER have kids, (she had already been conceived @ that time), I prayed to God for at least one healthy baby. Thus God blessed me with a beautiful, healthy, SMART, little lady. Blah blah blah.... sorry I tend to go on and on ... ANYWAY, my point is this ... I ALREADY feel a hundred times better and I'm still recovering . My doc said he would go in and look via lapo. scope, then (will my go ahead) decide with method was best to remove the rest of my "manufactured parts". It turned out that I have three small tummy incisions and the rest was removed via vaginal. They placed an estrogen patch on me the next day and I have been taking Vit. E, C, B, a multi. (Centrum silver) and calcium (1500mg) a day. Sounds like a lot but it has helped !! YOU NEED THE CALCIUM. As I stated before, I was on the verge of ending all, for this and the mood swings(which I attributed to just who I am, rather than the crap I was going through) ..I am on Zoloft ! WHAT a wonder drug that is !!! If this is going to be trying on your emotion state ask about getting some. I know a hyst is not for everyone, but I have been fortunate to have a child first. Beside, have a party just before for your LAST PERIOD !!!! Write me personally if you need someone to talk to.
