Cyndi, I have endo on both of my ovaries along with lots of adhesions, after my first lap, 2 months later I was in alot of pain again and decided to try to have a child. 11 months later I finally got pregnant. I had a few complications during pregnancy related to the endo, such as unexplained bleeding in my 6th month, which required bed rest until my water broke at 8 months. Now a year and a half later my Dr wants to take out my ovaries but who can say at 22 that they never want to have more kids. I hope to see a specialist in the next couple months to see if there are anymore options. But your Dr was right about getting pregnant, it may take a while but it should happen. Also the lap close before hand will also help out with your body being clean. Hope I helped. Hi, I'm new to the list and I'm not sure if I sent my note properly the last time or not. I'm wondering if there is anyone out there with Endo on the ovary. I was diagnosed with Endo on my left ovary two years ago. My doctor didn't give me much info (sent me home with pamphlets). The first thing I asked him was can I have children and he said "I doubt you'll have any problems". I haven't been trying but I plan to shortly, I was just wondering if any one has any advice. My pain has been getting worse, before it was occasional, now it's daily. I think I'm going to request another lapo - even though I hated the last one, I need to know if it's gotten worse. I'm not on any medications just BCP, I didn't like the side effects listed for any of the other options. I hope everyone has a pain free night. Cyndi :-)
