Adeno is the "cousin" to endo. The only way to diagnose properly is through hyst. The Dr can get a general idea if you may have it by the size and feel of the uterus. It is usually enlarged and has a spongy feel to it and may be quite tender. In my case the pain has been horrible. It is constant pain, heavy periods, similar symptoms to endo which I also have. I am at the end of my rope with all the ops and that is why hyst is the only other option. Why are you having a hyst? Hope to hear from you. Jamie
