I read your note to Toni and thought I'd respond. Adhesions can grow anywhere. I have them on my ovaries, fallopian tubes, large and small bowel, etc. Although the small bowel is very rare I've heard. They may have been there when you had your first lap done, maybe not. See they constantly grow and they may have grown on your bowels as a result of the endo or as a result of one of your surgeries. Not much is known about adhesions except that they constantly grow and cause people pain. They also like to mess up your insides as I put it. My bowels have been wrapped all over my ovaries, fallopian tubes, adheared to my abdominal wall, and just all over the place. I had a 4 hour laparatomy a year ago and they spent the four hours cutting a few nerves at the base of my spine and removing adhesions. Most of the time was spent removing adhesions. Good luck with your doctor and hope that everything went well for you. I hope this answered a few of your questions.
