Re: Adhesions? Let me tell you about mine......(PART 2)From: Sonya (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Mar 24 14:35:37 1999
I read your story and know exactly how you feel, except I've gone through all that in only four years. I am in the process of finding a new doctor cause all the doctors in Toronto don't know whats wrong with me. In the past four years I've been told IBS, In your head, Functional, just had doctors at each others throats fighting about whats wrong with me. Well I was diagnosed with Stage 4 endometriosis since then and like you they couldn't see a thing when they went in with a laproscope cause I'm so full of adhesions. My doctor desricbes my insides as an angry mess. I've recently went for more tests that all came back negative and had a doctor try to tell me that adhesions don't cause pain, and that I'm lucky cause my pain won't kill me so I can just learn to live with it. I'd like them to try and live with this! Well, anyways just wanting to let you know that I have been through the same thing and would really like to know what can be done about adhesions. I am 20 years old attending college for Pre-Med. I guess you would say that I lost my faith in doctors so decided to try and become one my self so that one day someone wouldn't have to go through what i went through these past couple of years.
