I'm wondering if the chest pains are new since on meds or longterm? I've had chest pains and flutterings for years, was diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse more than 10 years ago; first appeared in my late teens, doc said it was stress, I went to see someone else and was eventually diagnosed. I don't know if this is helpful or not...... The pains are worse when I'm tired and/or stressed, and get tired more easily than others. I'm told this is a very common condition in women Good luck with your quest for quality compassionate health care! Feel free to e-mail me if this info sounds like what you're experiencing or if you want further info at allan.bowers@sympatico.ca Amy PS - Anne - I live in Canada too, and have been very lucky to find a great family doc and obgyn, who has a specialty in advanced laparoscopic surgery as well as fertility.
