Well, you don't have to have cancer or go through divorce or abuse, Etc. to have someone to help support and educate you. I have only been with this group for a week and my impression is this is a place for support and to talk about your fears. Hear other persons life stores of a drug they may have tried or surgery they had to help. It is not to get medical advice. Everyone needs to vent now and then and this is a great place to do it. Think of the people that don't have family to turn to and say what do I do, or what happens next. You can get the support here. I am sorry but that is the way that I feel. You don't have to know a person face to face to ask advice or to tell them your fears. I agree we should value life and cherish the small as well as the large things but it does not hurt to have someone to talk to. Hope this group has a great weekend and painfree. My prayers go out to each and everyone of you. Tia

To Tia,

You are so right about focusing on the good things in life, no matter how big or how little. I rarely have a whole week go by without any pain, so I make the best of the painfree days and store them in my memories to concentrate on when I have a really bad day. I used to think that no one understood the pain and suffering I've been dealing with for 7 or 8 years now, but it's nice to know that there IS support out there to help us all get through this. I tend to hide alot of my pain behind a pasted on smile when all I want to do is curl up in a little ball, shut out the world and cry. Fortunately I have an educated and openminded boyfriend who is very supportive and caring, and he doesn't mind talking about it or just holding me while I cry through the pain. But, sometimes it's nice to have a woman to talk to, cause after all, it's us women who are afflicted with this nasty disease. All of you are in my prayers, and if anyone needs to talk my computer is always open to you (joke), and so are my ears. God Bless......

Jeanette
