Re: LupronFrom: shelly (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Mar 2 14:13:30 1999
Hi I am fairly new to this too. I went on lupron after my laperotomy for only one month. I don't want to discourage you, but it was horrible for me. I was extremely moody, couldn't stop crying, and the hot flashes/night sweats were miserable. The doctor agreed to take me off the med, and one month later-only two months after my surgery- the endo is back on my left ovary, along with all the pain. Perhaps the doctor and I should have gone longer on lupron, but I fear the same result when I am off it. The doctor told me that lupron is only a tool for suppressing the endo- not getting rid of it. I wish you the best of luck in your decision and results. If you need to talk, e-mail me (giz61@hotmail.com) shelly
