Stephanie - I use primadophilus bifidus (recommended by my doctor) twice a day. I have read that primadophilus and/or acidophilus supplements are good for (non-endo-related) IBS because they control the growth of yeast and other organisms and help to maintain bowel function. I used to get intestinal cramps and diarrhea, but I'm fine as long as I use these supplements. Buy it in a health food store or natural foods grocery. It's kept in the refrigerator case.
