Birth Control and Insurance

I agree with the problem of most insurance companies not paying for birth control pills, even though it seems in the long run they would save money from not having to pay for unwanted pregnancies... but anyway, I just found out this week that some insurance compainies will agree to pay for the pill if you have documented signed proof that you are taking them for endometriosis, and send it to the company. So, everyone in this situation should talk to their insurance company or their pharmacist to see if this could help. Anything is worth a try- those things add up! Good Luck!
