Re: TINAFrom: Michele (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Feb 26 20:50:37 1999
Hi Tina, No, I've never had an ultrasound that picked up adhesions. Wish they did pick them up. Ultrasound technology is better today. Ultrasound will pick up the ovaries and endometriomas, cysts...things of that nature. It doesn't show adhesions because of the structure of them. If, during an ultrasound, organs that can be picked up have moved, a doctor could make a guess that it is possible that adhesions was a possible cause. My adhesions were confirmed by the mere fact that upon exam the colon had moved. Yikes. But, compared to 6 yrs ago, I am so much better. :-) PS. Hope you meant your post for my reply. I noticed that there are more than one Michelle's here. I spell mine with 1 "L". Hope I was the one you wanted to hear from. LOL!! Take care,
