Suzanne - Whatever you do, DON'T do nothing. You must educate yourself about this disease. There is much that you can do to improve your chances and your ability to cope, and it's unlikely that your doctor will know about them. (Not impossible, but most of us have found out the hard way how little the medical profession knows about our disease.) I believe that diet and lifestyle changes can help, and I've had a great deal of success with supplements and herbal alternatives. (My endo is stage 4 and inoperable according to the specialists, but I really feel that I'm getting it under control - without their help.)
