Lupron Cost / Insurance

My insurance company is great with the Lupron. I only took it two times but my daughter has taken it since she was 3 (she is 6 now) for Precocious Puberty. My insurance company has a contract with a local Pharmacy that distributes injectables and they deliver it to my house and my insurance pays 100%. Another suggestion I have so you don't have to keep going to the doc. is to either give your shot yourself (if you can stand it) or have your husband go with you to the doc and have them show him how to do it. My husband gives my daughter her shot every month and he gave me my last one. My GYN wanted to do the first one to make sure I handled it ok. My GYN was perfectly fine with him giving it to me since he already knew how to do my daughters. Just a suggestion! I know shots can be a terrifying thing for some.
