Re: another lupron debateFrom: Stephanie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Feb 24 07:28:46 1999
When I took the Lupron shot back in June - November it only cost around 500$ I think most of them cost 497$. And, was very luck my nurse got me one from the distriuter for free and my insurance paid all but $40 on four of them, then my husbands company switched to USAble with BC+BS and all I paid was $7.00 man did I like that. Many of you who have a pharmacy card and are trying to get ins to pay for it may be going about it the wrong way! I had to get the major medical part of my Ins. ok it first and this took my Dr filling out some papers. The big problem you run in to is that it is an injectable and must pharmacy cards will not pay for injectables. So, any of you going through Lupron now may want to call your ins plan and see if they will get off there ass and help pay for these cost. After, all you do pay for a serivce and should get it!!
