Re: Endo in strange placesFrom: Anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Feb 23 16:56:02 1999
Hi Everyone. I am also wondering if I have patches of endo which haven't been diagnosed. When I am menstruating I have extreme pain in my perrenium (I think that's the right word) Often it is such a sharp pain that if I sit down without thinking about it I have to jump back up instantly. I am a student and have often had to sit on one butt cheek :) during class for days at a time because sitting normally is unbearable. I had an epesiotomy in 1995 during birth, and I think that the endo is growing on the scar. I have mentioned this to my GYN and she said it's possible, but didn't tell me much more than that. Does anyone know how this can be diagnosed? I had a laproscopy in May and the doctor didn't say anything about that area. I wonder if she could even see that area through laproscopy. Are there any other women with this problem? Does anyone have suggestions for coping or diagnosis? Thanks! Anne
