All of this is exhausting, plus your other activities. I guess Lupron could also do it. I started noticing the hot flashes about 3 days after the first injection. They were mild at first, I probably wouldn't have noticed them had I not been looking for them. They got much worse but I got used to them. Actually I found them kind of interesting, but I didn't have them at night, or the other symptoms like palpitations that sometimes go with menopausal hot flashes. I also don't remember anything like drenching sweats. Just a feeling of extreme warmth starting in the chest and moving up to the top of the head. Really, really hot. I remember the pain getting worse (actually I became aware of pelvic pain I didn't have before the Lupron-I was being treated because of leg pain only) and then gradually better. I think you should try to go about your business and *try* (ha, easier said than done, I know) not think about the side effects. The ones that are bad will come to your attention. Good Luck! Chris S.
