Alison,

Don't apologize for complaining. You have helped so many of us that you deserve to vent also. I have a question for you though. When your ins. did not pay for your Lupron did you call them from the pharmacy? I have had a lot of problems with insurance paying for my daughters medicine when I went to pick it up and every time I called them from the pharmacy and by the time I left, they had paid for it. Sometimes you have to get mean and rude to them but they will eventually do it. What's the saying "the customer that yells the loudest gets the most attention" well this is true because I have done it plenty of times. I have even gone so far as to ask for the department manager and the CEO. The CEO thing always works. They finally assigned us a case worker to handle all the problems with referals, medicine, etc. She is very nice! All I have to do now is call her if I have a problem and she takes care of it for me. She knows I know the rules and the procedures of my ins. and knows I know how to get around it.

I can understand about the money being tight. When my daughter was first diagnosed with Cancer my husband had to quit his job to stay home with her because I was the one that carried her health insurance, I had to work. He worked for a small company that did not have a leave of absence plan or any other benefits so we were on our own living off of one income and at that time, I did not make very much money. It was very rough but we made it through.

Life is unfair that it has to be such a struggle for some of us and others it comes so easy. It seems that those that have it so easy don't deserve it and the ones that have it rough are the ones that are the nicest caring of people. It just gets me sometimes but you have to keep your faith in your god (I'm not sure of your religion) and know that you will make it. Do you have a lot of family support or is it pretty much just you and your fiance'? Hope this helps!

Chrissy
