Hi Crissy,

I guess drs and patients differ. My gyn is very respected in the area I live and highly recomended, and I know he was only going by my last laparotomy, and I was very active. I really do not think it matters that much, bacause we have tried it both ways, and really I think after the last laparotomy I am probably ALITTLE better than I was all summer. At least they have not given me any more steroid injections, the general surgeon I went to was doing that. I am trying real hard to even avoid a laparoscopy, that is why I hope pain clinic can help me!

They are trying a different anti depressant and told me to be patient, they may add another drug with it, but have to see if it helps and I tolerate it, so I will.

By the way chris, this one is trazodone, and she said it will help me sleep too, the paxil had me up all night, and she did say that she has had patients that said that! So wish me luck on this one, she also mentioned neurotin, I have NO idea what that is, but we will take that step if it gets to it!

Take care!
