Re: Alison/ adhesions or endo?From: anonymous@obgyn.netFri Feb 5 05:32:07 1999
Holly, Hi! I feel as though I haven't really talked to anyone here in awhile. I have been really busy student teaching but I really like it a lot. Let's see.... My lap was 12/29 so yes they were right around the same time. I also have been having pain. It seems very similar to the pain that I was having pre op but it is less frequent. I had been taking Ovral continously for about 2 1/2 months but I wasn't feeling any better and I began getting migraines so my doctor took me off of it (this was last friday). I already got a period but it is not too bad. I had terrible cramps for the first two days but very light bleeding that is very dark. I wonder if it might be blood left over from the lap (sorry :) I wasn't trying to be gross). I am going to see my endo specialist next thursday 2/11 to see what he can do for me. I am hoping that he doesn't suggest Lupron. I don't think that my pain is caused by adhesions although I guess that it is possible. I had endo in many different places and the surgeon did some pretty extensive excision in some areas. Well, I hope that this helps you. What did your doctor say you should do about the pain that you are having? I hope you are feeling better soon. Love, Alison
