Re: Pain MedFrom: Anita (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Feb 1 16:21:00 1999
Hi, I'm Anita and new to this site. Just hooked up to internet last week. I'm so very surprised by all I'm reading about Endo here. I've had Endo for 25 yrs. and been diagnosed since 1985. None of my OBs have ever prescribed anything stronger than Naproxen for me. For the past 6 years I've lived in my hometown, which is a very rural NC town. Way behind the rest of the world in most things. My current OB has not mentioned the Vicoprofen as a possibility for my pain. The last 3 months my cycle has been unbearable (had some relief for about 5 years after Lupron treatment until now), truly debilitating, in bed with a heat pad, crying, balled up in the fetal position. Have also had the other usual symptoms of painful intercourse, recurrent bladder infections, yeast infections, etc. Not mention the emotional rollercoaster rides. I'm so glad to have found this network of women. Hope to become more educated and to at least have someone who can empathize and sympathize. Please advise me with all you know about Vicoprofen, so that I may talk with my OB about it intelligently. Thanks, Anita Sylva, NC Angel Faulkner wrote:
