Just a saying when they cannot find anything wrong! I told husband last night, I would agree maybe, but the pulling pain like someone is wrapping a rope around you that is adhesions, the only pain I had from IBS is hard cramping in the middle of the night mostly, and it was like a severe gas pain, and I would get up burping and one bout of diarehha and I would be fine! This sharp pain that comes and goes is pretty painful and they are hard and sharp, you can almost feel the bands of scar tissue pulling your insides! it is adhesions but I will go along with the elavil for awhile, they said it is good for bowel pain, one of the best! I hope you keep me inlformed on how your pain is too, I had senekot again last night, I need to find something besides this to keep bowels open, that is why I had some much pain to take me to ER last week.
