My doctor prescribed Vicoprofen for me. I used it before my second surgery in October and have used it as needed since. It has been a life saver at times. When other medications haven't worked, vicoprofen has. Side effects are just the normal that go along with any narcotic pain killer, I don't want to get addicted.
